Contractor Expenses

If you incur expenses as a result of carrying out your contract work, you may be able to offset these costs against your company’s Corporation Tax bill – if you run a limited company.

If you’re an umbrella contractor, the scope to claim expenses has been greatly reduced over the last few years, particularly if your work is caught by IR35.
