The latest IT Contractor News from Contract Eye

To coincide with National Freelancers Day on 23rd November, the PCG is urging freelancers and contractors to take a few minutes to complete a survey to ensure that the sector's collective voice is heard.

The PCG, which has over 20,000 members, has teamed up with ComRes to find out:

1. What freelance workers think about their future, what skills they bring to the work place; what they believe their clients value; what motivates them and whether they are confident about the future and their role in the UK economy.

2. Views from within the business community of the contribution freelance workers make; the sectors where there is growth; why they use freelancers; the qualities and skills freelancers bring to their workplace; the future role of freelancers in their sector.

If you are a freelancer or contractor, you can complete the Freelance Survey.

If you run a business which uses the services of freelance workers, you can complete the Freelance Client Survey.

Each survey takes around 10 minutes to complete, and closes on 5th November. The results will be made available on National Freelancers Day itself.
