What do freelancers contribute to the UK economy?

As National Freelancers Day nears, a survey has been launched to help find out more about the role freelancers and contractors play within the challenging economic climate.

The Professional Contractors Group (PCG) has partnered with Contract Eye, Bytestart, and a host of other sites within the small business and contracting industries to conduct research to help highlight the contribution contractors make to the UK economy.

To support the event, the PCG is inviting visitors and members of the key industry sites to share their views on the evolving profile of freelancers, their achievements, their personal experiences and their relationship with business leaders and permanent employees.
