SPA becomes Freelancer and Contractor Services Association after re-brand

The Service Providers Association (SPA) has re-branded today and will now be known as the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA).
The new identity appears to be more in tune with the industry sector the organisation represents. Its members, which includes major players such as Parasol, Brookson and Giant, provide umbrella company and accountancy services to contractors across the UK.
The FCSA has also made its code of conduct public for the first time. The code outlines the standards the organisation believes should apply to the sector, and is designed to encourage best practice across the industry.
Commenting on the re-brand, Stuart Davis - Chairman of the FCSA - said:

All of the FCSA's work is designed to benefit our members, their customers and the industry as a whole, which is why we decided to take the unique step of making the code of conduct publicly available.
